EPR Registration For E-waste: Fee, Documents and Process

EPR Registration for E-waste is an obligation for the manufacturer, importers and brand owners of electronic & its allied products. The EPR certification for e-waste management is issued by the central pollution control board. It is important for entities to oblige with EPR e-waste management rules. That is the producers are responsible for the accumulation of waste by their products throughout its lifecycle.

To achieve their plastic EPR obligations annually the PIBOs (Producer, importer and brand owners) are required to file their online application with Central pollution control board or state pollution control board respectively. The Authorization is granted to PIBOs after through verification of audit of road map layed out by PIBOs to dispose of plastic waste generated by them.

Monitrix provide valuable support to make the process easier and fulfill EPR e-waste requirements effortlessly. We assist our clients throughout the entire procedure, regulations and facilitating hassle-free registration.

What is EPR E-waste management Registration?

EPR e-waste management registration specifically pertains to the registration process for electronic waste management under the Extended Producer Responsibility. It involves ensuring that producers and importers of electronic products comply with the necessary regulations and requirements for managing and disposing of electronic waste in an environmentally responsible manner.

As per the provisions the producers of e-waste are classified as:-

                        • Recycler
                        • Producer
                        • Refurbisher
                        • Manufacturer

Or any entity that introduces batteries in the market are required to obtain EPR Registration for battery waste management.
