Wool & Woollen Export Promotion Council

 

The Wool and Woollen Export Promotion Council (WWEPC) is an advisory body in India that plays a crucial role in the development of the woollen Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) industry.

 

The council is responsible for issuing export certification for woollen and its allied products. It actively contributes to the policies of the Government of India and acts as an interface between the woollen industry and the central and state governments.

 

The WWEPC provides financial assistance to registered member-exporters for participating in export promotional activities, such as trade fairs and exhibitions abroad, to boost the export of woollen products.

Fees for WWEPC RCMC Registration

 

The Membership cost of WWEPC registration cum membership certificate is INR 1,500 only for the merchants and manufacturer exporters of wool and Woollen products. Additionally the annual subscription fee of WWEPC RCMC for exporters and merchants exporters is INR 5,000.

Procedure for WWEPC RCMC Registration

 

  1. Log in to the DGFT portal: After you have created an account using your IEC (Importer Exporter Code) you will be able to sign into the DGFT (Directorate General of Foreign Trade) portal using your login credentials.
  2. Apply for RCMC registration: Once you have logged in to the DGFT portal, you will need to access the RCMC registration section. In this section, you will be asked to complete an application form which will require you to provide information such as your company's name, address, and PAN (Permanent Account Number) number.
  3. Upload supporting documents: You will also be required to upload supporting documents such as your PAN card, GST (Goods and Services Tax) registration certificate, and certificate of incorporation as part of the application process.
  4. Submit the application: Once you have completed the application form and uploaded all the necessary documents, you can submit the application for RCMC registration.
  5. Approval process: After submitting the application, it will be reviewed by the relevant authorities. Once it has been approved, you will receive an RCMC (Registration-cum-Membership Certificate) which is a necessary document for exporting products from India.
