CAPEXIL Certification: RCMC Registration Process, Membership Requirements, Cost

 

Capexil Certificate is registered under the Chemical & Allied Export Promotion Council, a unit of the Ministry of Commerce that promotes the export of chemical-based products. CAPEXIL aims to boost the export of chemical & allied products internationally while providing the best available assistance to the chemical & allied products exporters.

 

It is a government body that helps in sourcing the needs of an importer anywhere in the world and trading the needs of Indian exporters.

 

The Chemical industry in India is highly diversified, covering more than 80,000 chemical & allied commercial products. It is broadly classified into Bulk chemicals, Specialty chemicals, Agrochemicals, Petrochemicals, Polymers & Fertilizers. India is a dominant global dye supplier, accounting approx 16% of the global production of dyestuff and dye intermediates. CAPEXIL plays an important role in the guidance & growth of chemical export business.

 

 


 

 

What is CAPEXIL?

 

CAPEXIL is an abbreviation for "Chemical & Allied Export Promotion Council." it was set up under the ministry of commerce.

The mission of CAPEXIL is to promote the chemical industry and encourage the export of chemicals.

Merchants and manufacturers of chemicals & it's allied products must have an RCMC CAPEXIL certificate to commerce their export business.

 


 

 

Eligibility for CAPEXIL Membership

 

Anyone can become a member of the CAPEXIL council under the following category.

Associate member:-

Applicants having an Import-export code from DGFT can become associate members of the CAPEXIL council.

Ordinary member:-

Interested applicants must fulfil the following conditions to become an ordinary member of the CAPEXIL council.

  • Should have been an associate member for 3 years
  • Export performance of at least INR 10 lakh for small scale industry and rupees 25 lakh in case of big industries.

                    1. Import Export Code (IEC)
                    2. Personal Account Number (PAN)
                    3. Industrial License / Manufacturing License
                    4. Self-declaring that the firm is not blacklisted by any Government Department
                    5. Chartered Accountant’s Certificate mentioning Export Turnover or Domestic Turnover for last 2 Years
                    6. Copy of Canceled Cheque with Bank Name and Account Number
                    7. GST Registration Certificate

CAPEXIL Certification Fees

 

The membership registration fees for CAPEXIL varies for MSME to Non-MSME members.

  • The CAPEXIL admission fee for MSME’s is INR 3,000 for small category and INR 5,000 for large category manufacturers.
  • The Annual Fee for the first year for all new MSME members is Rs. 1,000 only.

The cost of CAPEXIL membership registration for large scale industries is as follows:

Some additional charges for CAPEXIL membership

  • For additional panel the cost is INR 1,000 for each panel.
  • For Dual RCMC Fee for members of type Manufacturer cum Merchant Exporter is Rs. 1,000 once in 5 years.
