Eligibility Criteria for SHEFEXIL Membership Registration (e-RCMC)
The manufacturer and exporter of shellac and forest products and its derivatives are eligible to get SHEFEXIL registration cum membership certificate. The e-RCMC is a certificate issued by SHEFEXIL council to the interested applicants. The Objective of issuing an RCMC is to regulate and promote export on shellac and lac-based products from India.
Documents required for SHEFEXIL Registration
- IEC registration code
- Proof of business such as incorporation certificate, partnership deed/firm registration certificate
- Identity Proof of appliant such as aadhar, pan, passport
- GST registration certificate is also required
- MSME registration certificate if available
Membership cost for shellac export promotion council
The fee for SHEFEXIL membership registration i,e registration cum membership certificate (RCMC) is as follows:

| Having Gross turnover more than 50L last year | Rs 35,400 |
| Having Gross Turn over less than 50L last year | Rs 29,000 |
| Seeking membership based on products only | Rs 26,550 |
| New membership fee of North eastern members | Rs 1,000 + 18% Gst = 1180 |
| Additional or Incidental Fee as per necessity | ? 23,600 |
Note: The aforementioned Fees is exclusive of GST.
Procedure for SHEFEXIL membership registration
The registration process can categorised into the following four steps
Step-1: Details & Documentation
Applicants are required to provide all the related documents and basic details during the filing of application on the respective portal.
Step-2: Filing of application
Once all the details and documents are provided the application duly be filed along with all the relevant documents.
Step-3: Submission of fee
The application fee should be submitted along with application form.
Step-4: Issuance of License
Once the application is submitted successfully, authorities will verify all the details and documents only after the verification the e-RCMC (registration cum membership certificate will be issued to the respective applicants.
