The Indian Silk Export Promotion Council (ISEPC) was established in 1983 as a premier organization for silk exporters, manufacturers, and merchandisers. Operating as a not-for-profit entity under the Companies Act.

 

ISEPC is sponsored by the Ministry of Textiles, Government of India. In recognition of the significance of the silk and allied silk product industry, the Government of India has recently declared it as a priority sector.

Eligibility for ISEPC registration

 

The Indian Silk Export Promotion Council welcomes any exporter of Silk and other allied Silk products to become an Ordinary Member. As an ordinary member, you will have access to a wide range of benefits and services provided by the Council as announced by the Government of India from time to time.

 

These benefits include the opportunity to participate in the subsidized and general annual export promotion activities of the Council.                           2. Proof of manufacturer - exporter if require
                          3. Partnership deed in case of partnership firm
                          4. MoA & AoA in case of companies
                          5. Pan detail as applicable
                          6. Gst detail

Fee for ISEPC registration

 

The cost of ISEPC membership for the merchants and manufacturer exporters of silk products and its allied goods is 9,440 INR respectively.

 


 

 

How to apply for ISEPC RCMC registration

 

                            1. Log in to the DGFT portal: Once you have created an account using IEC code. you will be able to log in to the DGFT portal using your login credentials.
                            2. Apply for RCMC registration: Once you have logged in, you will need to navigate to the RCMC registration section of the portal. Here you will be prompted to fill in an application form with details such as your company name, address, and PAN number.
                            3. Upload supporting documents: You will also need to upload supporting documents such as PAN card, GST registration certificate, and certificate of incorporation.
                            4. Submit the application: Once you have completed the application form and uploaded all the required documents, you can submit the application
                            5. Approval process: After submitting the application, it will be reviewed by the authorities. Once it is approved, you will receive an RCMC.

                            7. Resolve trade disputes.
                            8. Launch generic promotion of silk products from India.
                            9. Organize Workshops/Seminars on various trade and policy related issues.
