What is Coir Board RCMC Registration

 

Coir board exporters registration refers to the process of registering a company or organization with the Coir Board, which is a government organization in India that promotes the development and growth of the coir industry.

Manufacturer exporters of coir products such as coir ropes, yarns & fibers are given exporters registration separately. It is mandatory for such exporters to have coir board registration as per the registration and licensing rule 1958

 

 

 


 

 

Eligibility for Coir Board Registration

Any person who has rehanked or baled 100 tons of coir yarn in a factory owned or possessed by applicant in a period of 12 months.

MSMEs or any entity having total purchase turnover of 500 tons of coir yarn in the said period is considered for registration.

Any person who has manufactured 150 tons of coir products other than coir rope in a factory owned or possessed in a period of 12 months.

Who has a total purchase turnover of 700 tons of coir products in the said period is considered for registration

Any person or new startups who operate in the Coir industry and can produce a certificate regarding his financial status from a nationalized or scheduled bank and a copy of the PAN Card is considered for registration as exporter of coir fiber and coir rope subject to other requirements.

 


 

 

Compliances for Exporters

 

Applicants are required to comply with certain conditions and requirements in order to maintain coir board RCMC registration. These may include:

                      1. Submitting Annual Reports & Financial Statements: Applicants required to submit annual reports and financial statements to the Coir Board on a regular basis in order to demonstrate the financial stability and viability of your coir-based business.
                      2. Abiding by the T&C of the Coir Board: As a registered member of the Coir Board, applicants will be required to abide by the terms and conditions of the Board, which may include requirements related to business practices, quality standards, and other operational matters.
                      3. As per Annexure-3 exporter and manufacturer exporters registered with coir board are required to duly sign a code of conduct with authorities.

  1. Applicants must be registered with the Coir Board as an exporter. This involves submitting the required documents and paying the necessary fees.
  2. Must adhere to all relevant laws, regulations, and rules governing the export of coir products from India.
  3. Applicants must ensure that all coir products exported from India meet the required quality standards and are fit for the intended use.
  4. Must ensure that all coir products are correctly labeled and packaged in accordance with international standards.
  5. Applicants must not engage in any deceptive or fraudulent practices in connection with the export of coir products from India.

  • Copy of the PAN Card
  • Copy of Udyog Aadhaar
  • Code of Conduct for Exporters
  • MoA & AOA in case of company
  • Application in the prescribed form
  • Copy of the Importer Exporter Code
  • Partnership deed in case of partnership firm
  • Copy of the export order from the overseas buyer
  • A certificate regarding financial status from a Nationalized Bank or Scheduled Bank
